If you're a prospective landlord - I'd consider finding another agent.There was a property that we loved and it was on the market for several months. We were told, month after month (already several thousands of pounds less for the owner for an unrented property...), about an apparent 'no pets' policy - even though the ad clearly stated 'pets will be considered'. As we live in the neighbourhood, after about 4 months of the house standing empty, we saw some people moving in, an with a dog, too...As for the rudeness of the agents, as described in some other reviews, we've experienced that, too. There was only one nice person that we talked to - unfortunately, not very helpful either. Shame.
Some of the staff were very friendly during our 2 year letting period. Others were downright rude half of the time. Then when we decide to move we are forced to pay 400 to get the house cleaned, and that doesnt include getting the curtains dry cleaned and other crazy stuff. Now, here it is 3 MONTHS later and no word from them. My husband finally called and they are JUST NOW processing our deposit refund. Im almost positive that if we never would have called we would of never heard from them again. Oh and Ive called asking about our mail from our old property, and of course no one has returned my calls. Guess a trip to their office is in order
Beatrice Carter has got a very professional team. The time between seeing the property and doing the paperwork for our move was quick and everything went smoothly. If we had any problem, they were always there to help us as soon as possible. Their attitude to their clients is fantastic, I have never met such a good team.

This month marks 8 years with Beatrice Carter. My stay in England is coming to an end and I could not have asked for nicer ladies and handymen. I have heard horror stories from co-workers and friends on letting agencies and landlords. Not one complaint for Beatrice Carter. Over the 8 years I have had water, heating, etc. issues and all were fixed within days. I had issues with privacy due to a 3-4 foot flimsy fence and they built a new privacy fence around the property upon request. Complained about heating and hot water in winter and they installed 3 new radiators, hot water tank, and broiler. Rock driveway issues? Not with Beatrice Carter they reached out to landlord and they had a partial bricked parking lot for car outside of front door installed to cut down on rocks and debris. Beatrice Carter offers more than their professional skills through their numerous handymen Allen and Steve. Always helping fix things and keep the house perfect.I really can go on for days on how helpful and perfect Beatrice Carter letting agency is and those associated with them. They care about your service and treat each client individually because they are independently owned and operated. Why would you want to rent from anyone else?Keep up the fantastic service. I would have lived in that same house for another 4 years if the military would have let me!
