The mechanic provided great customer service and was honest! I had my vehicle checked out in a timely manner. I see why so many people recommended this business to me. I will definitely go back in the future if I have any more car issues.

I called ahead to have a repair done on my bmw and I called about 5 days before so they could order the part and get it in (I paid for it right then and there over the phone). I asked them to replace the one part and they said they would and will call me before end of day. sure enough I didn't hear back so I called them the next day around noon. Karen said they had just finished with my car and found other work that they needed to do, yet never bothered to call me to make sure I was okay with the work being done. Nor did they ensure I had the funds to afford the extra work and part. I had the money but still they are supposed to notify you if more work is needed and need your permission to carry out said work. When I finally got in my car the steering wheel and tires had been badly unaligned and now I need to have realigned. Needless to say unless you want to not get your car on time and have them call when they are supposed to I wouldn't recommend this garage to anyone. Look around in surrounding areas there are many more garages that do much better work and are friendlier and are true to their word. Also if you are American and don't know basic vehicle maintenance laws, they are looking for your service so they can charge you extra money and get extra work. Find somewhere else even if base auto hobby is recommending them.
Matts Hicksville motors first need a crash course in customer services, especially the very rude Karen. They have serviced a vehicle and confirmed the servicing however refuse to forward a copy of the invoice. After questioning Karen she simply put the phone down on me. Secondly just looking through there reviews they seem that sort of a place. My advice stay clear.
Only good for MOT. If you're getting service done, especially on a performance vehicle, I'd suggest going somewhere else. "Full" service literally only included oil, filter, and plugs. Got my car back and it was almost out of coolant. Also asked that they look into a problem with my turbo system losing pressure and fluttering nearly a half bar below where it should be, they straight lied to my face and told me it was normal, but of course not before charging me to fail finding the problem. Several friends have had similar issues with them and also Matt's keeping their car for days without regular updates on what was going on. I will never take my car there again.
