We toured the museum back in June 2009 while on a trip to visit our daughter and son in-law who were both stationed in England. The day we spent at the museum and the village was as memorable as our time in London and our most enjoyable day there!

I absolutely enjoyed this museum! The volunteers running the museum were lovely, and knowledgeable. Mildenhall has a rich heritage and an interesting history.
Superb museum, much more inside than you think.
An excellent museum showing the history of the local area, including the Lakenheath Warrior and the Mildenhall Treasure. There are short films and tactile exhibits as well as traditional displays. Well worth a visit especially as it's free (donations are welcome).
