If you find them open there will probably be a large line and take forever to try to get your money. Terrible exchange rate. Basically the worse bank Ive ever dealt with.
Spare yourself the misery of this place and go to Keisler. On multiple occurrences they have messed up deposits and currency exchanges. This week for the second time in 2 years they have mysteriously ended my direct debit for rent with no warning or reason. Absolutely the most unreliable bank Ive ever dealt with.
Its like dealing with a 90s bank. Account balances dont match transactions so its really difficult to know your true balance at any moment. Daily hours are too short. They closed for a computer upgrade during business hours and posted a sign on the door, first indication they were closed. Did not post on the account website. For example, today (Friday before Easter) is a Brit bank holiday. Nowhere is it posted that they are closed. Recently was charged overdraft fee when it was a problem with their software (I believe they bought the cheapest version they could because it doesnt work very well). Sending them a message gets platitude response we will forward your complaint/suggestion to higher management ....I asked when they will implement touch card payments, they were like, what is that? Clueless and out of touch with customers. Seriously need competition but know they can do what they want.
The tellers here are friendly and genuinely make going here a good experience; however, community bank follows the banking model from the 90s, where innumerable overdraft fees, atm fees, and other fees reign Supreme. If you don't absolutely need to use community bank, I highly suggest you find somewhere else. Also, dont be fooled by the bank of America logo in the name. They have nothing to do with BofA, and cannot help with any BofA related issues.
